About The Conference
The 1st Workshop and International Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics, courtesy of the International Mathematical Union and the Commission for Developing Countries, (IMU-CDC), is to be held at Kampala International University, Kampala, Uganda from 6th-10th February, 2023. During the conference, there will be both paper and poster presentations. The conference audience is expected to be mathematicians mainly from the Eastern Africa region and other regions. Participants are to register online while information on hotels around the venue of the activity as well as on visa processing (for those coming from outside Uganda) will be made available on the registration portal.
ABSTRACT: Abstracts are invited on recent research results in the areas listed above. The abstract, written in English, should not exceed 300 words, with a maximum of 7 keywords, and preferably be in TEX format accompanied by the associated pdf format. It should include the title, author name(s), affiliation(s), email address, and phone number(s). Only those who paid for registration shall be allowed to make presentation.

English will be the official language at the conference

- ODE, PDE, Dynamical systems and Control Theory
- Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics
- Mathematical modelling, Biomathematics, Econometrics, Engineering etc
- Mathematical Physics
- Mathematics Education
CONFERENCE AREAS: Fluid Dynamics and related areas such as Dynamical Systems, Biomathematics, ODEs and PDEs.
GOALS OF THE WORKSHOP & CONFERENCE
- Promote regional and international teaching, research, and outreach partnership.
- Create a platform for Ugandan mathematicians and other African mathematicians to engage in the sharing of expertise in mathematics education, research, and outreach.
